Behind the scenes at any event can become more than a little chaotic
and it is essential that all of our front line staff can keep a cool
head at all times. Even if your own staff are keen to be involved in
your event, it can still be beneficial to have experienced staff around
to assist with all areas of your event - to relieve the pressure and
to help you enjoy your day.
We provide our staff dressed smartly in our own uniforms although
we can , at your request, provide staff in your organisations' uniforms,
or in black tie for more formal occasions.
The safety and enjoyment of people attending events will depend
largely on the effective management of the crowd. Crowd management,
however is not simply achieved by attempting to control the audience,
but by trying to understand their behaviour and the various factors
which can affect this. It is necessary to put a complete system into
practice rather than attempt to control certain elements of obvious
concern, without understanding the underlying issues.
The planning and co-ordination of events is one of the most important
parts of the event. During the planning stages, in-depth liaison with
the police, ambulance and first aid personnel is vital as everyone
needs a clear understanding of their respective roles to ensure the
comfort and safety of the spectators/audience.
The S3 Event Steward's comprehensive training enables them to work
with the safety of the crowd in mind and as anyone who has been in
a crowded situation will understand,trained, visible and efficient
staff are absolutely essential to ensure a safe environment for all.
The role of the door steward has changed dramatically over the years
and S3 have always stayed one step ahead of the changes, leading the
field in the provision of door stewards. All of our door stewards are
fully vetted and registered by the various local councils in accordance
with recent legislation, and they are also trained in the following
