
Haven will provide dedicated staff to compliment your business
profile by way of a Concierge service at the forefront of
your business. He/She will be the first person any clients
will see as a representative of your company. They will
be responsible for access control of personnel and goods
entering your premises and depending on your instructions,
will deter any unwanted salesmen/couriers, etc. from disturbing
you and your staff while at work.
They will identify the person's business and to whom they would like
to see and make a formal announcement that a guest has arrived, they
will then be booked in and given a pass explaining what the emergency
evacuation drill and evacuation route from the building if required.
The Concierge staff are specifically trained in identifying suspect
packages/personnel and dealing with any given situation depending on
your company policy. They are also your health and safety representative
in the event of an emergency evacuation in that they hold all relevant
details of who is booked into the building and who has booked out,
giving you an accurate report for the emergency services as to the
number of personnel on site at any given time, which can be checked
off at the emergency evacuation point.
The Concierge staff can also provide internal patrols to assist
full time staff in their personal security, identifying unlocked rooms,
left bags, fire doors left open, etc. They also secure the building
at night and make a final patrol in conjunction with the log in reception
book or computer registered permanent staff access print out, prior
to handing over to night staff or locking and alarming the building
if required.
A good concierge is an asset to any business, selected and recruited
for their inter-personnel communication, personal presentation and
computer skills, normally an ex Police or Military person who very
quickly will become any Managing Directors 'Eyes and Ears'
